Abstract

The Airport Electrical Engineering Program at Jayapura Aviation Polytechnic emphasizes practical learning, especially in the Airfield Lighting System (AFL) course. Due to limited on-campus facilities, practical sessions are held at Sentani Airport. This study aims to develop a "Virtual" application as a learning medium for virtual reality-based visual landing aids. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection techniques used were observations, questionnaires, and instruments involving several reviewers: three media experts, three material experts, and 24 students of the 4th batch of the Airport Electrical Engineering study program at Jayapura Aviation Polytechnic. Using quantitative data analysis techniques in accordance with ISO 25010 standards. The results of this study are the media aspect of 4.29 (Very Eligible), the material aspect of 100 percent (valid), the functional suitability aspect of 100 percent (very feasible), the compatibility aspect of 100 percent (very feasible), and the usability aspect of 82.72 percent (very feasible).
